Core Solutions
Interconnections
Managing the full process of developing and executing power and fuel interconnections—backed by in-house engineering and direct experience with utilities, AESO, and midstream operators.

Physical & Regulatory Bridges
Connecting Infrastructure to Operation
We manage the full process of developing and executing interconnections, backed by in-house engineering capability and coordinating utilities, regulators, pipeline operators, and technical consultants to ensure energy is delivered when and where it is needed. For large load interconnection projects in Alberta, our team brings direct experience navigating AESO processes and timelines.
Power Interconnect
Power Interconnections and Engineering Design
This includes utility coordination, T&D and municipal interconnection applications, load flow modeling, system impact studies, and detailed engineering design of switchgear, protection, and metering systems.
Fuel & Gas
Natural Gas & Fuel Interconnections
Connecting to LDCs, midstream pipelines, or utility infrastructure—managing tie-in design, right-of-way planning, compressor sizing, pressure regulation, and balancing provisions.
Permits & Approvals
Regulatory & Permitting Coordination
Managing technical filings and permitting required by utilities, pipeline regulators, and municipal authorities—including pipeline approvals, connection agreements, and electrical permits.
Utility Negotiation
Technical Interface and Utility Negotiation
We serve as the interface between the project and utility stakeholders, representing the developer's interests in technical negotiations, scope definitions, and interconnection agreements. Utility-facing technical positions are reviewed by our Director of Engineering, Juan Garcia, P.Eng., before submission. For large load interconnection requests in Alberta, we understand the AESO-specific requirements and timelines that govern these applications.
Multidisciplinary Engineering Teams
Direct Experience Navigating AESO & Utility Frameworks
Utility-facing technical positions and grid interconnection filings are rigorously evaluated by our senior engineering and technical specialist teams before submission. For large-load interconnection requests in Alberta and across North America, our technical experts bring deep experience navigating AESO and utility requirements, translating complex grid constraints into actionable, resilient project milestones.
